Creates a link to an external resource, special characters that come after the URL and are not part of it must be separated with a space. The  around external links are optional in the case you do not want to use any alias for the link. Examples: http://jira.atlassian.com. Atlassian.
To insert a link on a page:
- Select some text or position your cursor where you want to insert the link.
- Choose Link on the toolbar or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+K.
- Select a page, blog post or attachment, or enter an external URL (see below for how to link to particular types of content)
In Confluence, click “Add shortcut” in your desired Space and paste the link to your Jira project. That’s it. You can also link Confluence pages on Jira projects. To do this, visit your Jira project and click “Add item” on the left, then click “shortcut.” Paste your Confluence URL and bam – shortcut!
